The TIC-VILLE international seminar was held at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique (ENSP) in Yaoundé from 17 to 19 January 2007, on the theme: "Urban Data Management and Interoperability of Information Systems (Urban)", organized by the Urban Development Laboratory (LAU) led by Professor Chrispin PETTANG with the participation of the COMETES Project. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Jean Paul KOMON, Technical Advisor No. 1 representing the Minister of Higher Education and the Director of the ENSP, Professor Charles AWANO ONANA. The objective was to reflect on the urban data, these tools of decision-making so far underestimated in the developing countries, in particular in Cameroon.
