Women parliamentarians engage in the fight against the depravity of morals in schools
How to enable the school to once again become a healthy framework for the training of young Cameroonians? This issue was discussed during a meeting with the Minister of Secondary Education (MINESEC), Ms. Nalova Lyonga, on Monday March 22, 2021, elected officials called for a special plenary session of the National Assembly to debate and propose solutions to this growing phenomenon. The latest example is that of the students of the bilingual Lycée d'Ekounou, surprised a week ago in the middle of a sexual orgy during school hours in Yaoundé. Very worried, MINESEC and the Network of Women Parliamentarians of Cameroon (REFPAC) talk about the moral decadence affecting secondary school students. The students present in the context of this discussion, indicted absent parents, who entrust their children's education to social networks. Opinion leaders (Priests, Imams, Traditional leaders, etc.) and other ministries in charge of social affairs should be involved to save our children.
