The results of the first 100 days of municipal mandates in Cameroon

The action of the municipalities is beneficial to fight against the coronavirus. In addition to their own resources, these decentralized local authorities (CTD) benefited from support from the public authorities and the elites. This made it possible to install handwashing devices, to acquire masks, hydro-alcoholic gels and thermo flashes, to carry out market disinfection operations, etc. However, after the start of the mandates disrupted by the Covid-19 epidemic, the municipal executives should open windows of economic opportunity for the improvement of the living conditions of the population and for local development:
-
Encourage and / or accelerate through a participatory approach to development projects dedicated to young people in rural and urban areas. This is possible in many sectors such as agriculture, livestock, and especially the "chimneyless industries".
-
Initiate daring projects in tourism development and construction of social housing.
-
Etc.
Les maçons seront jugés auprès du mur en matière de (re)structuration des économies locales.
