Resettlement of the National Assembly, the new premises to house the general secretariat of this institution already ready
Through a guided tour of the President of the National Assembly (PAN), the satisfaction is apparent thus translating the progress of the site that will soon accommodate its tenants. The building is part of the resettlement of the National Assembly (NA). This building located in the lake district of Yaoundé, with a capacity of 75 offices, looks great. "I did not expect to find such investments in less than a year. What has been done is satisfactory, "PAN said, revealing his pleasant surprise at the progress of the work. On the whole, the vice-president of the National Assembly reveals that this resettlement operation is coming to an end. Indeed, it is question of destroying and demolishing buildings that exist on the site of the AN currently, for a new headquarters. The demolition project takes shape following the fire that ravaged the rear facade of the main building of the Glass Palace in the night of Thursday, November 16 to Friday, November 17, 2017 in Yaoundé. It will be remembered that work on the lake site was launched on June 10, 2019. Thus, the site includes: a main building of type R + 1 completely redone, another below, four buildings entirely built of temporary materials painted in white and blue. It will host the services attached to the General Secretariat, including General Affairs, Budget and Pay, Common Technical Services and Subject Accounting.
