Yaoundé: Prostitution as Noah's Ark for Internally Displaced Women

According to investigations, internally displaced women from the conflict in the Northwest and Southwest regions are engaged in the sex trade. In the Obili, TKC, Etoug-Ebe, Melen and other neighborhoods in the Yaoundé VI District Commune (CAY VI), which is home to 95% of the nationals of these regions living in Yaoundé, the exchange of sexual pleasures for money is raging, with the internally displaced women who are there, and too many. There are thousands (about 15,000) of internally displaced women from the crisis in the North-West and South-West regions who live only on prostitution, not only here in Yaoundé, but also in Douala, Bafoussam, etc.
