New complex of the National Assembly: 70% of the rate of progress of the site! And the old hemicycle transformed into a museum
In the company of the members of the Technical Commission, and under the guidance of the Vice President, the Honorable Théodore DATOUO, Chairman of the Construction Monitoring Committee, the Right Honorable CAVAYE YEGUIE DJIBRIL spent nearly an hour visiting the site. Phase I is finished and all the buildings are standing. The President of the National Assembly (PAN) congratulated the entire team that is working 24 hours a day. He said thank you to the President of the Republic Paul BIYA who watches over the completion of the work, without forgetting the Chinese party which offers an ultramodern Complex of 54 billion FCFA to Cameroon. In addition, the old hemicycle is transformed into a museum. The first transmutation works on the existing memorial building of the political history of Cameroon have started. It is in this hemicycle that the first President of the Republic, AHMADOU AHIDJO, was sworn in. The current Head of State, Paul BIYA, has been here several times.
