National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (CENC): Archbishop Andrew NKEA of Bamenda elected President
He was elected to head the CENC on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the end of the 47th Plenary Assembly of the Bishops of Cameroon held in Yaoundé from April 25 to 30, 2022, replacing Bishop Abraham KOME of Bafang. Bishop Philippe Alain MBARGA of Ebolowa was also elected vice-president of CENC. "We will continue to pray for the return of peace in the North-West, the South-West, the Far North and also in the Eastern region," said the new CENC president.
